The financial sector is entering a new era where digital payments are becoming the central driver of transformation. Rapid technological change is reshaping how users pay, save, and invest, while banks and insurance companies are redefining their business models to meet evolving market expectations.
At the upcoming NetWork 13 Conference, to be held from October 22 to 24 at the Grand Hotel Neum under the slogan TEChTONIC CHANGES, the first day – known as Business Day – will feature a discussion titled “A New Rhythm for the Financial Sector: CEOs on Digital Payments and Transformation.” This conversation will bring together leaders of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s top financial institutions, who will share first-hand insights and their vision for the future of the market.
The discussion will be moderated by Merima Mahmutović, Senior Manager at PwC, and will explore the key trends shaping the future of financial services – from innovations in payment systems and the introduction of Apple Pay, to AI implementation in finance, digital lending processes, and e-commerce in the insurance industry.
The fireside chat will feature Jasmin Spahić, CEO of Addiko Bank d.d., and Borislav Doder, CEO and Chair of the Management Board at Wiener Osiguranje VIG. Together, they will address the role of technology, innovation, and regulation in creating a competitive and secure financial environment. A special focus will be placed on the growth of digital payments and mobile solutions that are reshaping customer habits, as well as on partnerships between banks, fintechs, and technology leaders that are defining the new financial landscape in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As in previous years, the NetWork Conference continues to serve as a platform for idea exchange and inspiring success stories, showcasing tangible examples of collaboration between banks, fintechs, and technology partners. Once again, it reaffirms its position as the most influential regional conference connecting technology and business, offering a unique opportunity for learning, networking, and inspiration.
The event is organized by the Communis agency, responsible for the overall organization and communications.
This year’s conference is supported by long-standing platinum sponsors Aircash and Logosoft, as well as telecommunications sponsor JP Hrvatske Telekomunikacije d.d. Mostar, along with many other partners and friends of the event.
