Automotive sector is growing rapidly where vehicles are connected to everything from cloud infrastructure to our own wearables. This connectivity and scalability bring new cyber security risks, especially in electric vehicles, where every signal can be a potential vector of attack.
In this presentation I will talk about new cyber security standard in automotive ISO 21434, what are crucial procedures to have, how cyber risks are evaluated, where industry is going and most important how bad cyber security practices and procedures can affect functional safety mechanisms and endanger human life.
This will be followed with examples of latest cyber security breaches, how to mitigate, why cyber security is the next big thing in automotive and in general.
Attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of the current cybersecurity landscape in the automotive industry and see how security is a topic for all stakeholders.
