The NetWork conference debuted as the last in a series of Microsoft conferences across the former Yugoslavia, marking my first "international" speaking engagement. Although from my perspective, NetWork has always felt like a local event. Over the years, it has evolved into a seminal event shaping the future of IT in the region, bringing together experts from various fields.

Throughout its 12 editions, NetWork has grown into a respected and well-attended conference featuring top-notch speakers and rich content. It's a place where friends, acquaintances, and colleagues meet, and alongside expert lectures, there is no shortage of fun. This year’s NetWork conference introduces a diverse range of topics from computing, business, and social networking. However, lately, the dominant theme is artificial intelligence. There's a lot of discussion about how AI will replace jobs from the simplest to the most complex, but it's important to realistically assess the situation—as was the case with cloud technologies, real changes will come through adaptation, not replacement.

Over the past year, I have been intensively working with Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365. In the international business environment where I work, there were concerns about security and data protection when using artificial intelligence, especially in sensitive settings. Although there are still some reservations, Copilot has proven to be an excellent tool, particularly within Microsoft Teams, Forms, Outlook, and through Copilot Chat.

Copilot assists in searching, summarizing, and organizing data securely within your Microsoft 365 Tenant. Of course, proper integration and understanding of its capabilities are crucial, especially when it comes to data security.
