This presentation introduces CSECOne, a baseline cybersecurity certification scheme developed by CSEC to help organisations, particularly SMEs, achieve a practical and measurable level of cyber resilience. In a context where frameworks such as the NIS2 Directive and the General Data Protection Regulation set increasingly demanding requirements, CSECOne provides a simple, accessible pathway to implementation. The session will outline the concept, methodology, and structure of the model, including its 48-control framework, scoring approach, and certification options (self-assessment and CSECOne+). It will also explore how such a model can support organisations in reducing exposure to common cyber threats while preparing for future regulatory alignment.
